The perfect way to serve petit fours, hors d'Oeuvres or canapés. Created by Olympia, this long, slender, natural slate board aims to aid with presentation when serving delicate dishes. The black creates beautiful contrasts when placed against a crisp, white linen cloth, or when there are light elements to a dish, such as foams or opened oysters. A coating of varnish makes these slate boards food safe and resistant to oil and water. Natural jagged edges are retained to add to the rustic, earthy feel of these slates, whilst the coating allows you to serve a strong flavoured dish without worrying that the slate may be tainted by flavours. After use, simply wipe down with a mild detergent, but avoid submersing in water.
